Lower Manhattan on an August Morning

Corea Harbor, Maine

I climbed up to a railroad bridge while on the road home, and looked for an interesting vantage point - while staying safe. The green and red signal in the foreground was interesting. However I liked the shot best in monochrome to emphasize the odd geometry of this particular structure.

Self Portrait Why is it so hard for (some) photographers to take photos of themselves? I set up my studio with one light and did my best to take a decent headshot - of myself. Unretouched, except for the conversion to black & white.

This is me standing on the frozen lake near our house.

This week we had a huge snowstorm, part of a record blizzard to hit New England. Here in the Hudson valley we didn't fare so bad, and I liked the abstract look of this snowy scene.
